Day 1 of 31 spooky, horrific, and downright awesome TTRPG items. First up: Vest of Ribs!

Exeunt Press runs one of my favorite Substack publications, and their annual project called MÖRKTOBER begins today. It's simple: creators make 31 different things according to the prompts given. I love the MÖRK BORG system anyway (especially CY_BORG and Pirate Borg), so this was serendipitous.

Plus, I was already thinking of doing a lot of spooky Halloween items this year for all of you, so this is the perfect way to handle that. If I don't get posts up daily, I'll definitely get catch-up posts will multiple entries in it. So don't worry--you'll get your 31 treats. No tricks!

Vest of Ribs

Armor: -D4, Tier 1

Surprisingly protective when worn as a vest. it has a bad habit of cracking at the worst times.

25% chance of absorbing all damage from one attack, but the armor breaks and cannot be repaired.
