Check Out My New Releases!
I've been working hard at making Dragonbane content recently, and here are my 4 newest titles available on DTRPG.
Have you had a chance to try Dragonbane yet? If not, I highly suggest you get to it. I’ve been running a weekly game for the last month or so, and I have to say—it’s now my favorite TTRPG. I’m hooked.
I tend to love Free League games anyway, but this one is special. So I’ve been working on a lot of supplements for it, making things I want to see in the game, and releasing them on DTRPG.
Go ahead and read my full review of the game, and then come back and check out the content I’ve been releasing for it lately. I’ll wait.
Mousekin
Includes a new player kin, random encounters, NPCs, and heroic abilities.
Often thought by those who have never encountered a Mousekin to be small of stature and meek in spirit, they are precisely the opposite of that. Mousekin tend to have robust personalities, a playful demeanor, and a penchant for mischief. Standing roughly two meters tall, Mousekin often feel a wanderlust or call to adventure from a young age.
Chronomancy Magic
15 new magic spells for Dragonbane grant you control of time itself. These include 3 new magic tricks and 12 full spells.
The idea behind the Chronomancy School of Magic is for it to mostly provide support for the party. You’ll be concentrating on helping allies and hindering enemies more than dealing damage as with Elementalism.
D66 Random Encounters
With Dragonbane, random tables can make or break the game. Or characters. I don’t think you can ever have enough random tables to choose from so the story keeps going and the party stays engaged.
While these random tables are designed with Dragonbane in mind, such as using a handful of NPC names, player kin, and the village Outskirt, they will also be useful in games like Shadowdark and other OSR titles. A simple name swap will let you use these in any setting you want.
Slayer Profession (FREE!)
The Slayer is a new profession for Dragonbane (Drakar och Demoner) with 3 brand-new heroic abilities to choose from, both for the Slayer and any other combat-focused characters. And it’s free!
What’s Next?
I’m currently putting together a book of D66 Magical & Mundane Treasures as well as a sandbox adventure (think Shadow Over Gloomshire) where the party crashes on a remote island populated by mostly duckfolk, delves deep beneath an active volcano, traipses through jungles, and just might meet a mischievous mousekin steamboat captain who went into the public domain this year.
Oh, and I am also working on getting bjkeeton.com up and going, and I may eventually port this email list over there and make posts like this on that site. Nothing like that’s been finalized yet, though.
That’s all for now! Keep being awesome!
